Why it lives in the tab

Most online PSD converters require an upload — and most of them route through a licensed cloud pipeline. We parse PSDs locally in WebAssembly, flatten the layer composition, and write a lossless PNG with alpha intact. No licence, no cloud account, no upload. The conversion happens in the same tab the file was dropped into.

Frequently asked

Why PNG instead of JPG?

PNG is lossless and supports alpha. If your PSD has transparency, or you need exact pixels for further editing, PNG is the right pick.

Does the alpha channel come through?

Yes. Transparent areas in the PSD become transparent in the PNG.

Are layer styles applied?

Standard styles render correctly. Some app-specific advanced effects may differ.

Is the source uploaded?

No. The conversion runs in your browser via WebAssembly. The PSD never leaves your device.

Does this batch?

Yes. Drop multiple PSDs; each becomes a PNG.
