Sessions in IndexedDB
Reload, the project's still there.
"Sign up to continue" is the modern equivalent of a parking meter — every minute you spent finding the editor, you now spend creating an account before you can use it. Flowcut opens straight into the timeline. No email, no password, no card. Drop a video, cut, color, export — all on the free tier. Until then, the editor is yours.
No splash screen asking for an email. No "create account to continue" modal. The page is the editor. Drop a file and start.
Free tier is the full editor — timeline, color, scopes, export.
Reload, the project's still there.
Account is for billing, not for unlocking the editor.
Most online editors gate the export — or even the timeline — behind an account. The pattern works because they need your email for retargeting, your card for trial conversion, and your data for analytics. Flowcut renders locally, has no per-session server cost, and does not need a profile to function.
Really. Open morph.cool/video-editor and the timeline is right there. The free tier — multi-track, color grade, scopes, 1080p export, no watermark — is fully usable without any signup.
Only when you want Pro for 4K export, three Pro LUTs, and the rest of Morph. The account is for billing, not for unlocking the editor.
IndexedDB on your device. Sessions persist across reloads as long as your browser keeps the storage. Export to a real MP4/WebM/GIF when you're done.
No. The whole pipeline runs in your browser tab via FFmpeg.wasm.
Pro. The free tier exists because the renderer runs on your CPU — there is no cloud cost on our side.
Yes — the no-signup flow works the same on phones.
