What it actually does
Multi-track timeline
Free includes the full editor — multi-track, ripple, transitions, color grade, scopes. The watermark removal isn't a Pro feature, because there is no watermark.
FFmpeg.wasm
Renders run on your CPU, so the math works at $0.
How it works
- Open morph.cool/video-editor. No account required for free tier.
- Drop footage. Cut, color, sound on the timeline.
- Hit export. Pick from MP4 / WebM / GIF presets.
- The render runs locally via FFmpeg.wasm. The output is clean.
- Need 4K or the rest of Morph?
Why "free" usually means "watermarked"
Cloud-based free editors have a server bill to recover. Their math only works if a percentage of free users either upgrade or accept a watermark that drives upgrades. Flowcut's encoder runs on your machine — we pay nothing per render. That changes the math. Free can be honestly free, because there is no cloud bill on our side.
Frequently asked
Really no watermark on the free tier?
Really. The export is a clean H.264 file. No corner logo, no end-card, no metadata branding the file as Morph-made. Free is honestly free.
What does Pro unlock?
4K export presets, three Pro-only LUTs (Teal & Orange, Bleach Bypass, Film Noir), and the rest of Morph — Artboard, Framecast, Soundbend.
How is this possible at no cost?
The encoder runs in your browser via FFmpeg.wasm. We pay nothing per render — your CPU does the work. That's why a free tier without watermarks is sustainable: there is no cloud bill to recover.
Are there any export limits?
Free tier caps at 1080p and one of seven export presets. There is no time limit, no watermark, no monthly minute quota.
Files upload?
No. The whole pipeline is browser-side. Decode, edit, render, encode all happen in your tab.
Audio quality?
AAC 192k on the YouTube preset, AAC 128k on the smaller presets, Opus on WebM. Stereo or mono.
