What journalists usually ask
How is Morph different from the incumbent suites?
Three differences. Second, scope — Morph is creative + utility on one subscription, where the incumbents specialize. Third, privacy — Morph runs locally in your browser tab, so files don't touch our servers.
How can the tools run in a browser?
WebAssembly. FFmpeg, Tesseract, ImageMagick, PDF.js, Web Audio, Canvas 2D, WebGL, and a custom React stack all running in the browser tab. The browsers got fast enough; we just ship the pipeline as static assets.
What does Morph cost?
Everything that runs on your device is free with no cap. AI and server work is paid in credits, about a cent each. Morph Pro is $9.99 a month for 1,400 credits, live sessions, the Morph API and Soundbend’s full studio.
What's the AI policy?
AI features are clearly marked. Server-side AI (generative fill, object remove, expand, describe) runs through Cloudflare Workers AI. We don't store inputs, don't train on user data, don't sell training data. IPTC AI content metadata is embedded in exports per EU AI Act requirements.
What's the privacy posture?
Almost everything runs in your browser tab. The few server features that exist (auth, leaderboard, AI inference) handle minimum data and don't log content. Privacy policy at morph.cool/privacy.
