Unit Converter From one unit, to another.

Morph’s unit converter turns a value in one unit into another as you type. Eight categories — length, weight, temperature, volume, area, speed, time and digital storage — in metric and US customary units. Pick the category and the two units, type the value and read the answer; one button swaps the units, another copies the result. It runs in your browser, and the values you type are not stored or sent anywhere. Free for everything that runs on your device; AI is paid in credits.

What it actually does

02
SWAP

One value, two units

Type the value on the From side and the answer appears on the To side. The swap button flips the units and carries the answer over as the new value.

03
8 DIGITS

Exact factors, eight digits shown

Length, weight, volume and area use the exact definitions (an inch is 25.4 mm, a pound 0.45359237 kg). Answers show up to eight significant digits. Temperature uses the offset formula, not a factor.

04
NOTHING KEPT

No history, no settings

It opens on the same example, 1 kg to pounds, every time. What you type is not saved or sent.

One page for every pair

Many unit sites give every pair its own page: meters to feet on one, feet to meters on another. Morph’s converter is one page. Pick any two units in a category and read the answer; the swap button turns the question around.

What it doesn't cover

Energy, pressure, power and fuel economy. UK (imperial) gallons, pints and cups. Troy ounces and other specialist units, and compound units beyond speed. A month counts as 30 days and a year as 365. Money has its own tool: the currency converter, at the day’s reference rates.

Frequently asked

Which unit categories does it cover?

Eight: length, weight, temperature, volume, area, speed, time and digital storage. Each has its common metric and US customary units, for example millimeters to miles and nautical miles, milligrams to US tons, tonnes and stone, and milliliters to US gallons.

How accurate is the conversion?

Length, weight, volume and area use the exact definitions (an inch is 25.4 mm, a pound is 0.45359237 kg). The answer shows up to eight significant digits; very large or very small values switch to scientific notation. A month counts as 30 days, a year as 365, and KB, MB and GB count in 1,024s.

Is there a celsius-to-fahrenheit shortcut?

Pick Temperature, choose Celsius and Fahrenheit (or Kelvin) and type. The swap button flips the direction. Temperature uses the offset formula (°F = °C × 9/5 + 32), not a plain factor.

Does it handle compound units?

Only speed: meters per second, kilometers per hour, miles per hour, knots and feet per second. Energy, pressure, fuel economy and other compound units are not in it.

Are values stored?

No. The conversion runs in your browser and keeps no history: what you type is not saved or sent, and the converter opens on the same example (1 kg to pounds) each time.

Does it support cooking measurements?

US ones: cups, tablespoons, teaspoons, fluid ounces, pints, quarts and gallons, alongside milliliters and liters. UK and metric cups are not included, so check which cup a recipe means.
