Chapter splits
Every 20 pages, every 50 pages — useful for large books.
Splitting a PDF should not require uploading a tax document, a medical record, or a payroll PDF to a third party. Morph runs pdf-lib directly in your browser — three split modes (per page, by range, every N pages), lossless output, fonts and vectors preserved. Files never leave your machine.
For when you need each page as a separate file — invoices, contracts, batch processing. Output is a ZIP of N PDFs.
Type "1-5, 6-10, 11-end". Each range becomes a PDF.

OCR text remains searchable. Nothing rasterized.
Morph splits PDFs in your browser — pdf-lib parses, our code reassembles, the output writes locally.
pdf-lib parses the PDF in your browser. We rebuild the chosen page ranges into new PDF documents, preserving fonts, vectors, and metadata. Output is a ZIP of split files when there's more than one.
Per page (every page becomes its own PDF), by range (e.g. 1-5, 6-10, 11-end), and every N pages (chapter splits, e.g. every 20 pages).
No. The whole pipeline runs in your browser tab. The PDF, the parsing, and the output all stay local. Sensitive PDFs (legal, medical, payroll) stay sensitive.
There is no Morph cap. Practical limit is your device's RAM — most laptops handle 1,000-page PDFs comfortably.
Yes — split is lossless. Vectors stay vectors, fonts stay embedded, OCR text remains searchable. We are not rasterizing.
Password-protected PDFs need to be unlocked first (you provide the password) before splitting. The password never transmits.
