Most "age calculators" do something simple in a hostile way: take your birthday, fire it through a third-party analytics tracker (because birthday + IP is a spectacular ad-targeting combo), wrap a cake animation around the answer, and call it a day. Morph runs the date math — leap years, varying month lengths, time zones, the centennial leap rule — in your browser tab. Years, months, and days for the human readout; total days, hours, and minutes for the precise version. Forward to the future or backward through history. Your birthday is yours, not ad inventory. Leap babies (born February 29) get a graceful handling — non-leap years collapse the birthday to February 28 by default with an option for March 1. Time zone changes (DST transitions, international travel) use your browser's local clock — long-haul flights crossing the dateline can shift the day count by one. Pre-Gregorian dates (before 1582) work mathematically but the calendar conversion is approximate; for genealogy work spanning the Julian-to-Gregorian shift, expect a 10-13 day offset depending on country. The calculator targets modern dates; ancient history needs its own logic.
