Note: Not every format can convert to every other format. Morph shows you only the valid output options for each file you drop.
Image
Image Formats
Most image formats convert freely between each other. HEIC requires a one-time ~40 MB model download. SVG converts to raster formats (PNG, JPEG) but raster-to-SVG produces a traced version. PSD imports layers for use in Artboard. TIFF input now works on all browsers. AVIF output may vary by browser.
Document
Document Formats
PDF can be converted to images (JPG, PNG) or Word (DOCX). DOCX converts to PDF and plain text. Markdown and HTML convert to PDF. Complex layouts with custom fonts may not transfer perfectly between document formats.
Video
Video Formats
Video conversion uses FFmpeg running in your browser via WebAssembly. The first use downloads ~30 MB (cached after that). Convert between any video format, or export to GIF. Flowcut also supports trimming, cutting, speed control, and color grading before export.
Audio
Audio Formats
Audio conversion also uses FFmpeg in-browser. Converting from a lossy format (MP3, AAC) to a lossless format (FLAC, WAV) preserves quality but won't improve it. For the best quality, always start from the highest-quality source.
Data
Data Formats
Data formats convert between structured formats. XLSX (Excel) converts to CSV, JSON, and other tabular formats. JSON, YAML, TOML, and XML convert between each other. SQL export generates INSERT statements from tabular data.
Font
Font Formats
Convert between desktop font formats (TTF, OTF) and web font formats (WOFF, WOFF2). Useful for web developers who need to convert fonts for self-hosting.
3D & Specialty
3D Models
Basic 3D model format conversion. Best results with geometry-only models. Complex materials and animations may not transfer between all formats.
Other Formats
RAW photos (CR2, NEF, ARW, DNG) convert to standard image formats for editing or sharing. EPUB e-books convert to PDF. CBR/CBZ comic book archives can be extracted.
Tips
- Best quality — convert from the original source file, not a previously-converted copy.
- Transparency — use PNG or WEBP. JPEG doesn't support transparent backgrounds.
- Smallest file size — WEBP for images, MP4 (H.264) for video, OPUS for audio.
- Universal compatibility — JPEG for images, MP4 for video, MP3 for audio, PDF for documents.
- Web fonts — WOFF2 offers the best compression for self-hosted web fonts.
